Looking to add more colour in your home? I find this collection of photos so bold and inspiring. I don’t think painting the walls or kitchen cupboards would work in our house, but when we do put a row of bookcases in our living area (most likely white), I love the idea of the back of each bookcase being a slightly different colour. Have you tried some bold and different colours in your home?
I’ve mentioned Emilie de Griottes’ fantastic blog Griottes here previously. While catching up on the blog I was blown away my these amazing images she created for a special feature in a french culinary magazine. These dessert tarts recreate pantone colour swatches using berries, bananas, tomatoes, candies, and other foods. So creative!
I am adoring this colour combo at the moment. When I finished creating this image, I went and bought some black and gold glitter nail polish! Now my nails are glamorous for a friend’s hens day tomorrow. Check out these fancy black and gold items:
- Hello Conversation Card by Rifle Paper Co.
- Sequin Scale Pump by Christian Louboutin
- Black and Gold Half Moon Manicure
- Gold Glitter Nail Polish from Butter London
- Gold and Black Hand-lined Envelopes from Stripe & Field
- Socorro Deco Bracelet from Free People
- Japanese Washi Paper Sheet from Mosaic Mouse
It’s the end of another week, so I’ll leave you with some gorgeous images for a Pale Pink & Mint Green moodboard. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

‘Vintage by Colour’ is a lovely photographic series created by talented Swedish photographer and designer, Hilda Grahnat. I pretty much want every item featured in these photos especially the yellow typewriter and the vintage clocks. See more photography on Hilda’s website and blog, and her prints and products in her online store.
