For a little while now webfonts have been increasing in popularity in web design, and thank goodness as there is only so much you can do with the same few websafe fonts we had been using. There are a few services around the web now that allow you to implement different fonts into your website, but the one I now use the most is Google Webfonts. It’s free and doesn’t require you to create an account, and super easy to implement into your html and css.

The collection of fonts offered by Google is continually growing, below I am sharing a few of my favourites that I love using in website and blog designs.

Font Selection: Josefin Slab, Yeseva One, Oswald, Old Standard TT, Amatic SC, Raleway , Muli

  1. These are wonderful – I love good typography so much and it’s great that we can use it on the web now without needing to creating a whole load of images .

(You’re a fabulous designer though – I bet you could make Comic Sans look good)!

  2. I love how you have used all of these Jo – gorgeous. I kind of agree with Angie, you could probably make Comic Sans look good.

My recent Google Fonts favourite is Crete Round. Have been using it on my personal site and love it!
