Don’t forget to use ALT TEXT on your images – not only is it ESSENTIAL for users with disabilities but it’s also great for helping your SEO ranking (google will give you plus points for demonstrating a relationship between the words in your ALT text and the words on your page).

I also never realized that the format in which the images are saved matters.
I have a question that probably sounds stupid, but should the size of the images be changed in camera or once they are downloaded?

Thanks for this post. Revamping my blog is one of this year’s ‘musts’ and better caring for my images is something I can do myself.
