I love when The Finder Keepers markets roll around twice a year, from getting to see all the wonderful products created by indie designers and artists in person, to relaxing outside on the lawn listening to live music and eating ice cream. It’s always a wonderful event to go to.

Last weekend it was Brisbane’s turn to hold the Spring/Summer markets, I wanted to share the few little things I bought on the day and the wonderful designers behind them.

  1. “The Sugar In Your Tea, In My Chamomile Dreams” Limited Edition Letterpress Print by Bespoke Press - These Brisbane locals design and print beautiful stationery and weddings invites, as well as lovely prints and paper goods in their online store.
  2. OH NO! Tote by The Design Kids - Based in Bondi and Byron Bay, The Design Kids provide a platform for Australian design graduates, working graphic designers and practising artists to design one off/limited edition pieces.
  3. Colour My Day Notepad by Beneath The Sun – From northern NSW, illustrator and designer Leah Bartholomew has created a homewares and stationery collection from locally-produced and environmentally conscious quality materials.

Sydney is next up with a Spring/Summer market being held on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December at CarriageWorks, if you’re nearby I encourage you to go and support these designers and artists, and make a fun day of it.

  1. That notepad is my new fave thing I have seen today….it is so beautiful, I would almost hate to use the paper for fear it would run out!
